Villa Silene is designed as a welcoming hideaway for a carefree stay with family or friends. The open-plan living and dining area features a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy lounge space, ideal for spending time together after a day of exploring.

On the ground floor, one of the bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom is located. The first floor hosts the remaining three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All bedrooms, as well as the living room, are air-conditioned to ensure comfort even during the warm summer months.

Villa Silene is located in the small and peaceful village of Barat, just a few minutes from the charming town of Višnjan in the heart of Istria. This area is known for its rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves, and authentic villages, offering a perfect balance between nature, culture, and the Adriatic coast. In nearby Višnjan you will find everything you need for your stay, including two supermarkets, a bakery, a butcher, a cozy coffee bar, and several local restaurants such as Restaurant Borgonija and Pizzeria Višnjan. It’s the perfect place to experience the relaxed rhythm of daily life in Istria.

For food and wine lovers, the region offers many local specialties. A visit to the nearby Ipsa winery and olive oil estate is highly recommended for tastings of excellent Istrian wines and olive oils. The local market (Tržnica) in Poreč is also worth a visit, where you can buy fresh fish, vegetables, honey, and other regional products in the morning. Active guests will find plenty to explore. A scenic mountain bike route (route 141) starts directly outside the villa, and there is also a peaceful 4 km walking route between Barat and Višnjan with very little traffic — perfect for a morning walk or an evening stroll.
